1. Local Browser Processing Guarantee

All subtitle files (.srt, .vtt, .txt) and pasted transcript text processed using NelsonCode tools are parsed and transformed entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript. At no point are your file contents, transcript text, or personal data transmitted to or stored on our web servers.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

3. Analytics & Telemetry

Our first-party telemetry records limited operational events such as page visits, tool processing outcomes, copy actions, and downloads. It stores the page path, tool identifier, broad device category, referrer category, and a randomly generated pseudonymous browser identifier in local storage. Telemetry strictly excludes text contents, filenames, and user inputs.

The browser identifier is used to estimate repeat usage; it is not an account and is not designed to identify you by name. You can reset it by clearing site data in your browser. Analytics event records are automatically deleted after 90 days.

4. Server Access Records

For security auditing, operational diagnostics, traffic measurement, and crawler identification, NelsonCode records the complete client IP address, IP version, requested path without query parameters, request method, HTTP status, referrer hostname, user-agent, crawler classification, and access time. These records never include cookies, request bodies, subtitle files, transcript text, filenames, or tool input and output.

NelsonCode access records are retained for 30 days and then deleted. Hosting infrastructure may maintain separate standard server logs under its own security and retention controls.

5. Your Choices

NelsonCode respects the browser Do Not Track setting. You can also disable first-party browser analytics below without affecting subtitle processing. Disabling analytics removes the pseudonymous identifier stored by this site. Essential server access records cannot be disabled through this browser control because they support security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and crawler identification.
